MANCHESTER UNITED fans have backed one player to silence
Cristiano Ronaldo, as the Juventus star returns to Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho has watched his side struggle in
recent weeks as the Red Devils prepare to welcome Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.
United have won just five of their 12 games in all
competitions.
And they were also knocked out the Carabao Cup in a
shock defeat to Frank Lampard's Derby County.
But they are looking to turn their season around tonight
as they face Juventus in the Champions League.
Video footage shows the new Serie A star man returning to
his old club once again.
He makes his way out of the tunnel and greets a
member of staff before getting a feel for the pitch.
The clip soon made its way to Reddit, where
United fans were quick to reminisce on the six years he spent in
Manchester.
But others were not so keen to speak about the past and
instantly started plotting how Jose Mourinho will deal with the
forward.
"He could
have come back and didn't want to," one fan claimed.
"I hope we clatter him. I hope Martial scores a
brace, and we send Ronaldo home frustrated and goalless."
Another added: "I hope he takes it all in because,
before he knows it, he's going to find himself in [Ashley] Young's back
pocket."
And a third suggested: "Ashley Young do your thing
and keep him in your back pocket before your hat-trick"
