Man Utd return to domestic
action with a Premier League fixture at Watford this weekend and the Marcus
Rashford debate continues for Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United are back in action
after a near-two-week hiatus for international football this weekend when Jose
Mourinho and his side travel to Watford.
While the noise
surrounding Mourinho's own future may have lifted somewhat in the
last fortnight, there is considerable debate over the respective futures of
players Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.
Pogba continues to be linked with a possible switch to Barcelona
and his performances for United compared to during international duty have also
been called into question.
The
feeling is that Pogba performs far better for his country than he
does his club side and that is a feeling shared on Rashford.
The England striker has been
told by Jamie Carragher in the last few days that he may have to consider
his United future but he remains a key part of Mourinho's
plans at Old Trafford and a move is unlikely despite sending a timely reminder
of his talents with goals in successive international fixtures against Spain
and Switzerland respectively.
As well as worries over two of his most influential players,
Jose Mourinho is also sweating on the fitness of Luke Shaw ahead of the trip to
face the Hornets, who have a 100% record so far.
