MOSES CELEBRATES SIX YEARS AT CHELSEA

| Victor Moses of Chelsea during the Premier League match between Swansea City and Chelsea played at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea on 11th September 2016 |
Moses on Tuesday marked the anniversary of his arrival
at Chelsea from Wigan Athletic in 201, and says all the days have been filled
with amazing memories.
On 23 August 2012, Wigan accepted a fifth
bid from Chelsea after they finally met The Latics’ asking price after four
previously unsuccessful offers.
On 24 August, 2012, Chelsea announced that
Moses’ transfer had been completed. And he played his first game for The Blues
as a substitute against West London rivals, Queens Park Rangers on 15 September
2012.
Moses made his full debut for Chelsea when
he started in their League Cup game against Wolverhampton Wanderers and scored
his first goal after 71 minutes, helping The Blues win 6–0.
On 31 October, was named Man of the
Match against Manchester United in the League Cup, as Chelsea won 5–4.
On 3 November 2012, Moses got
his first English Premier League goal for Chelsea against Swansea City in a 1–1
draw, and four days later scored his first UEFA Champions League goal for the
London club against Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine.
The advent of Antonio Conte
in the squad meant he did not go out on loan for the first since his career
began with The Blues, after spells at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham
United.
After impressing Conte during
pre-season, Moses was included in the first-team and on 15 August 2016 played
his first league game for Chelsea in three years, coming off the bench for Eden
Hazard against West Ham United in a 2–1 win.
On 23 August, Moses made his
first start and scored his first goal since his return, a 3–2 victory against
Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup.
After back to back league
defeats, Conte converted into a 3–4–3 formation with Moses playing as a
right-sided wing-back in the following match against Hull City.
Conte’s decision to play
Moses as a right-wing-back paved way for a regular spot for the former Crystal
Palace crafty player, but that has now changed with Maurizio Sarri taking over
this summer.
Nonetheless, Moses is staying upbeat,
after missing the first three matches of the season, and insists he is enjoying
his days at Stamford Bridge.
Moses tweeted: “6 years since
I signed for the Blues! I’ve made amazing memories so far and hopefully many
more to come! “
